European Android Market: Top 5 Puzzle RPGs in Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for Puzzle RPG applications on the Android platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's data offers insights into the performance of these games in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Puzzles & Survival, published by 37GAMES, showed a promising start with downloads peaking at 248K in the first week of February, before experiencing a decline to 71K by the end of March. Revenue trends displayed consistent growth, reaching up to $423K in the week of March 22nd, while weekly active users topped at 375K in early February, later decreasing to 281K.

Zynga's Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG maintained strong revenue figures, with a notable spike to $1.5M in mid-January. Downloads for the title remained steady around the 70K-80K range throughout the quarter. Weekly active users hovered around the 1.3M mark, with minor fluctuations.

Best Fiends - Match 3 Puzzles, despite its more modest revenue, which reached $260K in the last week of March, saw a healthy number of downloads, peaking at 74K in early February. The game also witnessed a rise in weekly active users, ending the quarter with 354K.

Karmagame HK Limited's MythWars & Puzzles: RPG Match3 experienced a drop in revenue from $240K at the end of December to $196K by March end. Downloads showed a slight decline, starting at 40K and ending at 34K. Weekly active users saw a small increase, ending at 378K.

Lastly, Smashing Four: PvP Hero bump saw its revenue decrease from $70K to $41K, while downloads saw a significant jump from 18K to 43K in the third week of March, followed by a slight drop to 35K by month's end. The game's weekly active users peaked at 402K in late March.
